It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edward Sunderhaus Jr. of Lima, Ohio, who passed away on April 8, 2021, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Henry, Sr. and Mary Sunderhaus (Huber); his wife V. Jane Sunderhaus (Stalter); his son Kim Sunderhaus; his daughter-in-law Pam Sunderhaus; his grandchildren, Joseph E. Burg Jr. and Jessica Taylor; and his siblings, Louie Sunderhaus, Bob Sunderhaus, Bill Sunderhaus, Frank Sunderhaus, Mary Seffernick, Adeline Wiese, Ursula Frueh-Stemen and Ruth Frueh.
He is survived by: his children, Mark Sunderhaus of Lima, Robin Taylor (Todd) of Cincinnati, Susanna Chess (Richard) of Lima, Mary Burg (Joseph) of Lima and Sara Leifheit (Martha Mallott) of Toledo; and his sister Rita Casey of Lima. He is also survived by sixteen grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Gerard Catholic Church or VFW Post #1275.
