He was predeceased by: his wife Joan; his siblings, Arthur, Walter, Harold, George, Paul, Robert, Fredrick Baden, Olga Groll, Nora Littrell and Irene Baden; and his grandson-in-law Ryan Gerding.

He is survived by: his daughter Carla; his granddaughter Sarah J. Gerding (Ryan); and his great grandchildren, Cameron, Mason and Ryah Gerding.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Zion Lutheran Church Endowment or Churches United Pantry.
