He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Fuqua and Caroline Fuqua (Bowen); his son Shawn Fuqua; and his siblings, Charles Nance, Forest Nance, Royce Nance, Mary Howell, Velma Marie Roach, Willie Mae Fuqua, Joyce Ann Webster and Mollie Johnson.
He is survived by: his children, Shane Fuqua of Lima, OH., Shwana Fuqua of Columbus, OH and Shalonda Fuqua of Lima, OH.; and his sister Pearlene Fuqua of Florence, AL.. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Chapel of Jones-Clark Funeral Home, Inc. (1302 Oakland Pkwy, Lima, OH 45805). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at the Woodlawn Cemetery (1751 Spencerville Rd, Lima, OH 45805).
