With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Earl Dean Hauenstein Sr. (Lima, Ohio), born in Cairo, Ohio, who passed away on April 28, 2021 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Clyde Hauenstein and Mary Hauenstein (Sutter); his wife Dora Hauenstein (Chavis); his children, Mary Alice Shuey of Largo, FL, Earl Dean Hauenstein, Jr. of Pensacola, FL and Carol Henderson of Celina; his stepdaughters, Debbie Murphy (Gary) and Diane Bell (Mike); his sister Delores Hanlin; his sisters-in-law, Joyce Hauenstein and Lucille Hauenstein; his stepson Paul Miller, Jr.; and his siblings, June Ericson, Gerald Hauenstein, Dwight Hauenstein and Richard Hauenstein. He was also cherished by ten grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to Putnam County Hospice.
