He was predeceased by: his parents, Truman M. Bixel and Levada M. Bixel (Balmer). He is survived by: his wife Kathryn "Kathy" A. Bixel (Burns); his daughters, Amy S. Moran (Shane) and Ann M. Wald (Kyle); his grandsons, Ethan, Owen and Alexander Moran; his sister Jana E. Bosse (Gary); and his mothers-in-law, Mary E. Downing (Dick) and Sister Rose Marie Burns.
