He is survived by: his siblings, Jeff Schmiedebusch (Hollis), Greg Schmiedebusch, Steve Schmiedebusch (Terri), Ron Schmiedebusch (Kathy), Alan Schmiedebusch (Laura) and Carla Tooman (Duane); his wife Barb; his children, Gwen Ray and Dan Schmiedebusch (Erica); and his grandchildren, Lucy, James of Lima, Ohio. and Jaxson of Lima, Ohio..
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church (2200 W Elm St, Lima, OH 45805).
