He was predeceased by: his parents, George Anthony and L. Lucille Rose Gilles (Welter); his wife Linda L. Selby; his close friends, Trucker and Jake; and his brothers-in-law, Fred Gillotti and Jim Nussbaum.
He is survived by: his children, Matt Gilles (Teri) of Lima and Heather Holly (Tim) of Lima; his stepchildren, Steve Richardson of Lima, Ken Richardson (Kelly) of Knoxville, TN and Laura Smith (Greg) of Knoxville, TN; and his siblings, Carol Gillotti of Dayton, Judy Nussbaum of Kalida, Kathy Gilles (Joe Degens) of St. Clair Shores, MI and Greg Gilles (Diane) of Delphos. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
