It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Dean McCluer of Lima, Ohio, who passed away on April 26, 2023, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his mother Vivetta McCluer (Garver); his former wife Joyce McCluer; and his siblings, Shirley McBeth (Jim), Sharon Weldy (Joe), Jackie Lyons (Al), Lynn McCluer and Jimmy McCluer.
He is survived by: his father Herbert McCluer; his spouse Cecily Crider (Miller); his children, Kelli Singhaus (David), Emili McCluer, Matthew McCluer (Amy), John Crider (Dani) and Leah Crider (Joshua Thomas); his grandchildren, Kaitlin Singhaus, Lindsay Singhaus, Lauren Singhaus, Collin McCluer, Carson King, Carlie King, Alexa McCluer, Abbigail McCluer, Aaron Crider, Amanda Fletcher (Marshall) and Ethan Crider; his great grandchildren, Brielle Faucett, Kasen Faucett and Oakley Singhaus; his sisters, Debbie Gresham (Dick) and Beverly Wilges (Mike); his mother-in-law Louise Miller; and his siblings-in-law, Connie McCluer, Cynthia McCluer, Lee Ellen Coffey, Michele Mosley (John) and Terry Miller (Andrea). He is also survived by many nephews and nieces.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Shawnee United Methodist Church, American Cancer Society, or a charity of the donor's choice.
