He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude V. Cliborne and Lillie Belle Cliborne Jr. (Pigg). He is survived by: his wife Judy A. Cliborne (Royer) of Lima; his children, Wendy E. Thress (Tom) of Portland, ME, Sarah "Becky" Kotarba (Mark) of Elgin, IL and Claude V. "Clay" Cliborne, IV (Ginelle); his grandchildren, Damian, Brandon Thress, Zachary, Marissa, Nathan Kotarba, Wyatt and Olive Cliborne; his sister Barbara Overbagh (Hoyt) of Chesterfield, VA; and his brother-in-law Robert Royer (JoAnn) of Alexandria, VA. He is also survived by two nephews and two nieces.

Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
