He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Sr. Bowen and Margarette Bowen (Allen); his son Mike Bowen; and his brothers, Ronald Bowen and Rodney Bowen.
He is survived by: his wife Sandra Bowen (Nerderman); his children, Scott Bowen (Theresa) of Lima, Brandon Bowen of Dayton, James Mason (Sandy) of Columbus, Tammy Wright (John) of Lima and April McCarthy (Mike) of Wapakoneta; and his sister Robin Bowen of Lima. He is also survived by his fourteen grandchildren; his fifteen great-grandchildren.
