He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold E. McKenzie and Lillian Leona McKenzie (Epling); and his siblings, Phyllis Gerdeman and Rick "Reco" McKenzie. He is survived by: his wife Pamela McKenzie (Smith); his sons, Darren McKenzie and Troy King; his stepchildren, Parrice Smith, Martrice Smith Sr. and Valanne Smith; his grandchildren, Austin McKenzie, Kylie McKenzie and Hayden McKenzie; his stepgrandchildren, Aliyah White, Martrice Smith Jr. and Chanel Smith; and his siblings, Brenda Taylor, William "Bill" McKenzie, Robert McKenzie and Jeff McKenzie (Patty). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family.
