She was predeceased by: her parents, Karl Lawson and Vera Lawson (Sanders); and her husband Max Elwood Groves. She is survived by: her children, Jeffery A. Groves of Arlington, VA and Alicia Marie Groves of Elida, Ohio; and her siblings, William Lawson (Pamela) and Judy Miller (Bruce).

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society.
