She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Thomas and Phyllis Thomas; and her brother-in-law Walter Kuhlhorst. She is survived by: her siblings, Hugh Thomas and Julie Thomas Kuhlhorst; her nephew Eric Thomas; her niece Megan Thomas; her great-nephew Logan; her great-nieces, Abigail and Harper; her friend Decatur; and her pet Black Cat.
Carol was a kind caretaker of neighborhood strays, and friends are encouraged to donate in memoriam to the Van Wert County Humane Society in lieu of flowers.
