We are sad to announce that on October 19, 2021, Carmel Lorraine Pleva (Lima, Ohio) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Frederick Chenoweth and Lucretia Chenoweth (Beck); her daughters, Lorraine Pleva McKiernan (Lori) and Annette Pleva; and her grandsons, Brian P. Burke and Schuyler.

She is survived by: her uncle Earl J.; her aunt Rowena B. Gaines; her daughters, Louise Pleva, Christine Pleva of Lima, OH and Elaine Snyder (Ronnie) of Clemmons, NC; her grandchildren, Elliot Burke (Holly), Alexa Gross (Scott), Betsy Montgomery (Michael), Brendan Nolte (Donna), Kevin Nolte (Kim) and Sarah Lee (Dereck); and her friends, Tom Gibson, Jim Schrock and Amber Siefker. She is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made in Carmel's honor to the August Pleva Memorial Scholarship at St. Charles Catholic School in Lima, OH.
