With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carl H. Gest of Lima, Ohio, who passed away on January 3, 2025 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Gest and Berneata Gest (Mennell); his brothers, Russell Gest and Dean Gest; his brothers-in-law, Denny Jungbluth and Tim Williams; and his niece Nicki Roether.
He is survived by: his sons, Rob Shardy (Dana) of Lima and Eric Gest (Shannon Cox) of Columbus; his grandchildren, Austin Shardy and Ava Shardy; his sister Barb Jungbluth of Litchfield, OH; his sister-in-law Susan Gest of Grafton, OH; and his pet Zion Gest.
The family request that in lieu of flowers, memorials be given to Rousculp Church of Christ or to Children's Developmental Center of Lima 1001 Bellefontaine Ave. Lima, Ohio 45804.
