He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Detrick I and Mary Ellen Detrick (Rupert); and his sister Nancy Willis. He is survived by: his wife Gretchen Detrick (Seitz) of Lima; his children, Jeffrey Detrick (Breanna) of Marysville, Lisa Koelsch (Nicholas) of Sylvania and Jennifer Harris (David) of Findlay; his grandchildren, Ryan Tropp, Christopher Detrick, Nicholas Koelsch, Jr., Kaleb Koelsch, Kiersten Koelsch, Emma Harris, Haden Harris and Lucas Detrick; his siblings, Anne Dean and Paul Detrick; and his sister-in-law Barbara Perry.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
