With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Betty Peele of Lima, Ohio, born in Fremont, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 1, 2024 at the age of 93. She was predeceased by: her parents, Betty Langley Barnes and James E. Barnes; her husband Owen Peele; and her sisters, Roxie Harper, Gladys Lavin and Lillie Temple.
She is survived by: her son Richard Hainey (Bonnie); her grandchildren, Richard Hainey, Jr. (Carrie), Sherri Sasser (Frank), Chad Coley (Beth), Wendy O'Neil (Tim), Toby Coley (Christina), Elizabeth Howell (Caleb), Jessica Inlow (Josh), Amanda Moore, Sara Coley and Matthew Coley; and her sons, Frank Coley and Eddie Coley. She is also survived by great grand-children and great great grand-children.
