She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Robert Hume and Pearl F. Hume (Lincoln); her son George R. Scheckelhoff (Patti) of Monroeville, OH; her grandchildren, Brian Ritchie, Steve Ritchie (Kris), Lindsay Hammett (Eric), William Nickle (Sarah), Adam Nickle (Tevan) and Gavin Nickle (Alex Westgate); her daughter Sandra S. Ritchie; her husband George E. Scheckelhoff; her son-in-law Randy Ritchie of Wapakoneta, OH; and her brother Richard Hume. She was also cherished by 11 great grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Lima Memorial Hospital.
