With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ben Collier of Lima, Ohio, born in Seale, Alabama, who passed away on November 28, 2023 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, George Alexander and Janie Long (Collier); his stepfather Joseph Long; and his siblings, Cora Elias and Samuel Long.

He is survived by: his wife Mildred Collier (Jenkins); his children, Michael Davis, Sr., Rhonda Baker (Sam), Brian Napier (Penny), Kendra Smith and Terrance Collier (Angie); his siblings, Lula Reeder, Nancy Rembert (Kerry), Crecie Spencer (Fredrick), Jamie Chestle (Donald) and Wayne Long (Joyce); and his close friend Ronnie Gilcrest. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; two-great-great-grandchildren.
