She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Benjamin Parr and Minerva Parr (Musser); her children, Nancy Bender (Leo) of Lima, Janice Moore of Lima, Linda Wireman (Jerry) of Lima, Edwin Van Horn (Jen) of Grand Rapids, MI, Tammy Eilerman (Pete) of Shawnee, William Gates, Shirley Sage (Ray), Patricia Clark, Sandra Compton and Dennis Gates; her husband Marcus Smith; her siblings, Orville Parr, Pepper Parr, Charles Parr, Bernard Parr, Robert Parr, Alta Blue, Juanita Bourland, Betty Nogel and Charlotte Brendahl; and also, Emerson Gates and Ernest Van Horn. She was also cherished by her 39 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren and 40 great-great-grandchildren.
