She was predeceased by: her parents, George Mayes and Elise Mayes; her sisters, Maria Mayes and Elise Mayes; her daughter Rochelle Jackson; her great grandchildren, Amyaha Elise James, Lorenzo Londez James and Royce Amir Johnson; and her nephew Cornelius Mayes.
She is survived by: her children, Chitquata Monique Williams (James), Renee Jackson, Lydell Jackson (Ashley), Ann Carlotta Mayes, Lisa Mayes and Rayette Mayes; and her sister Louida Russell (Bill). She is also survived by ten grandchildren, and four great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Fourth Street Missionary Baptist Church (122 W 4th St, Lima, OH 45804). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 at the Woodlawn Cemetery (1751 Spencerville Rd, Lima, OH 45805).
