It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Adella Koester of Lima, Ohio, born in Delphos, Ohio, who passed away on March 9, 2023, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Hubert Klausing; her husband Elmer Koester; her daughter Linda Hancock; her son-in-law Tom Hunt; and her siblings, Ed Klausing, Mel Klausing and Velma Bobilya.
She is survived by: her children, Dale Koester (Patti), Steven Koester (Christine), Dan Koester (Patti), Nancy Hunt, Kathy Burns (Bob) and Laurie Spayd (Doug); her sister Helen Rushing (Frank); and her sisters-in-law, Barb Klausing and Joy Ritchey. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren.
Memorial contributions in Adella's honor may be gifted to the St. Joseph Indian School, 1301 N Main St, Chamberlain, SD 57325.
