It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Willie James Beverly Sr. of Liberty Township, Ohio, born in Youngstown, Ohio, who passed away on September 17, 2022, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, James A. Beverly and Alice Ruth Showers Beverly; his wife Sabrina Evans; his children, Dynell Thomas of Katy, TX, Willie J. Beverly, Jr. (LeEra) of Austintown, Stefanie Price (Jonathan Jr.) of Youngstown, Marquis Lee of Youngstown, Tysha Wilson of Youngstown and Dalonte Beverly of Liberty Twp; his stepchildren, Brandyn Lambert of Dallas, TX and BreOnna Lawrence of Columbus; his grandchildren, Willie III, Kiera, Leah, Liam Beverly, Kyrie, Jordyn Price, Deandre Gordon and Kaia Knight; his siblings, Michelle Thomas (Anthony) of Youngstown, Michael Beverly of Youngstown, Curtis Beverly (Marolyn) of Boardman, Malikh D. Carter of Campbell, Jibri Carter of Austintown, Lynette Evans of Reynoldsburg and Wayne Evans of Youngstown; his mother-in-law Evang; his grandsons, Tyler and Cameron Price; his sister Rochelle Beverly; his uncle David Showers; and his grandparents, Floyd and Viola Showers. He was also cherished by nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

“It is with sincere condolences, love and support that I leave this message to Willie's wife, children, family and friends. Please know you are not alone in feeling the loss of such a fine gentleman. I worked with Willie for many years @ YMHA and was there to see him retire. He did it with such style & grace; mentioning that he hoped that he made his parents proud. I know God loved him the most but he will be sadly missed by all who knew him. May the peace of Christ comfort you and keep you. JC”
