He is survived by: his wife Merleann Cowgill; his son Gerald Burns (Phyllis); his grandchildren, Breanna Johnson (Edward), Elizabeth Burns, James Burns, Joseph Burns, Dawn Combs, Josh Combs and Tiffany Combs; his nieces and nephews, Deanna Thompson (Daniel), Jeffery Massey (Anita), Larry Childers, Angei McGuire and Jim Cowgill; and his sister-in-law Peggy Cowgill.
Visitation was held on Monday, March 31st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home (1350 Millville Ave, Hamilton, OH 45013). A funeral service was held on Monday, March 31st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
