He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Volkman and Frances Volkman (Soltis). He is survived by: his wife Marilou Tucker of Bradford, IL.; his children, Thomas Scott Volkman (Ginny) of North Carolina, Sandy Eagle (Tony) of Liberty Twp, Pete Volkman (Christina) of Nevada and Patti Volkman of Fairfield Twp; his grandchildren, Andrew, Lauren (Rome), Jenna, Charlie, Luke and Ethan; his great grandchildren, Brooklyn and River; and his siblings, Mary, Chris, Ed (Linda), Frank (Anne), Ken (Donna) and Fred.
He was awarded the PRISM award which celebrates mastery in engineering and significant technical contributions to P&G. Bob retired from P&G in 2001 as Associate Director of Global Construction.
