Philip Butler Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Philip Butler of Liberty Township, Ohio, who passed away on February 16, 2025, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his grandson Adam McBurnie; his siblings, Myrl Butler and Verl Butler; and his parents, Donald Burchard Butler and Sara Mildred Butler.
He is survived by: his wife Eva Mae Butler; his children, Patricia Frey, Connie McBurnie, Phyllis Alexander (Butch), Beverly Strunk, Vicki Beckman, Kenneth Butler (Peggy), Karen Siebenshuh, Philip R. Butler Jr. (Marsha) and Wesley Butler (Trease); his grandchildren, Nicholas Frey (Ginger), William Frey, Heather Ryan (Travis), Christy Westendorf, Hollis D. Strunk II (Melissa), Christina Pfaffl (Jason), Holly Broadus, Suzanne Palton (George), Brian Butler (Sarah), Robert Strunk (Paula), Ryan Beckman (Kelley), James Butler, Angela Mienko (Eric), Chrystalynn Dannemiller, Kyle Butler, Kathryn Siebenshuh, Katelyn Siebenshuh and Justin Alexander; and his sisters, Edith Wigginton and Irma Marsh (Charles). He is also survived by 34 great grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Hodapp Funeral Homes - Liberty Township (6410 Cincinnati Dayton Rd, Liberty Township, OH 45044). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the National Kidney Foundation.
