She was predeceased by: her parents, Roger Hicks and Loraine Hicks. She is survived by: her husband Patrick Gutu; her children, Sydney, Trevor, Thad and Gionni Hicks; her siblings, Cindy Larson (Tom), Sherry Diehl and David Hicks (Julie); and her nieces and nephews, Kelly, Keith (Amanda), Katie, Kurt Larson, Kyle Diehl (Cathy), Andrew, Adam and John Hicks.

Memorial donations may be made to Diane Gutu Boys Educational Fund.
