She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Arens and Theresa Arens (Raub); her significant other Thomas F. McCarthy; her son Mark McCarthy; her granddaughter Shannon Sepesy; and her siblings, Audrey DeFelice, Natalie Nagy and Jack Arens.
She is survived by: her children, Janie Nist (David), Thomas McCarthy (Doreen), Michael McCarthy (Carol), Rick McCarthy (Cindy), Kathy Sepesy (Steve), Mary Jo Ciccotelli (Bill), John McCarthy (Sue), Kevin McCarthy (Andrea), Frank McCarthy (Lisa) and Theresa Hamilton (Karl); and her brother Walter Arens Jr. (Bud). She is also survived by twenty-two grandchildren and twenty-two great-grandchildren.
