He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick P. Wittung and Iva Leola Wittung (Uhrich); and his wife Helen Ruth Burch. He is survived by: his sons, Frederick E. Wittung (Patty) of Lima, Edwin P. Wittung, Jr. (Lynne) of Nederland and Marlin L. Wittung of Van Wert; his grandchildren, Elizabeth, Edwin Philip and John Wittung; and his brother Fred Wittung (Sylvia) of Van Wert.
