She was predeceased by: her husband Yvon G. Desfosses; her daughter Susie Thompson; and her sister Linda. She is survived by: her children, Theo Desfosses (Janice), Jean-Jacques Desfosses (Marsha), Rene Desfosses (Kim), Julie Schmitz, Pierre Desfosses and France Sowders (Edward); her grandchildren, Karin, Theo, Mandy, Christina, Matthew, Tracy, Yvon, William, Phillip, Marquise and Alex; and her siblings, Lila, Marquise, Reynold, Nelson and Theo. She is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
