She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Atwater and Opal Atwater (Worthington); and her husband Paul Polen. She is survived by: her daughters, Kathy Shepherd (Robert) of Liberty Township, OH and Mary Bascom (Thomas) of Cincinnati, OH; her grandchildren, Brian, Stephen Bascom, Jamie Becker (Ryan) and Rebecca Hovey (Joseph); and her brother Donald Atwater. She is also survived by 5 great grandsons, and 1 great granddaughter.
