He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Spillers and Bessie Spillers (Bennett); his sisters, Loretta Sue Millsaps and Patricia Ewing; and his son-in-law Gilbert Fisher.
He is survived by: his wife Madolyn Helf; his children, Gail Fisher of Swanton, Candace Wood (Matthew) of Hampstead and Bill Spillers (Dawn) of Liberty Center; and his grandchildren, Lance Fisher, Laurel Fisher (Randall Rober), Ariel Spillers and Bailey Spillers.
