He was predeceased by : his parents, Guy Schaub and Estelle Morris Schaub; his stepbrothers, Junior and Carl Lendon; his niece Belle Morris; his brother-in-law Vernon Blackstone; and his half-sister Frances Lendon.

He is survived by : his wife Betty Russell Schaub; his children, Scott Schaub (Shelly) of Beallsville, Loren Schaub and Bridget Stimpert (Bobby) of Lewisville, Ohio; his sister Bonnie Eichhorn of Pennsylvania; and his half-sisters, Betty Matson of Newark, Cora Blackstone of Lewisville and Elsie Bonam of Newark, Ohio. He is also survived by four grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
