He was predeceased by : his parents, Hershel Piatt and Mildred Piatt (Springer); and his brothers, Cecil Piatt, Carl Piatt, Guy Piatt and Kenneth Piatt.
He is survived by : his wife Garnet Piatt (Crooks); his children, Janet Wilson (Jeff), Kathy South, Donna Taylor (Tom), William "Bill" Piatt (Ronda), Richard "Clyde" Piatt (Angie), Robert "Bob" Piatt (Beverly), Thomas Piatt (Stacey) and Michael Piatt; and his sister Bonnie Weddle. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren.
