We are sad to announce that on April 29, 2023, at the age of 79, Emerson E. Gillespie Sr. of Lewisville, Ohio, born in Marietta, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Emerson Gillespie and Lucille Miller Jones; and his wife Teresa Carpenter Gillespie. He is survived by : his children, Annette Gillespie (Christine Brooks) of Fernandina Beach, Yvette Stotts (Michelle) and Eddie Gillespie (Jennifer) of Lewisville, Ohio; his siblings, Bernie Miller (Ken) of Woodsfield, Ohio and Frank Gillespie (Bea) of Bellaire, Ohio; and his grandchildren, Zac Gillespie, Ethan Gillespie, Maggie Stotts Gillespie, Cassie Phillips and David Kehl. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
