With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Edward Ackerman of Lewisville, Ohio, who passed away on August 4, 2020 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his father Benjamin P. Ackerman; his wife Beula Ackerman (Delong); his granddaughter Krista; and his brothers, George, Walter and Lester Ackerman.

He is survived by : his sons, Jimmy Ackerman (Carolyn) of Danville, Eric Dowler (Patricia) of Davisville, W. V., Junior Ackerman (Sheila) of Lewisville, Roger Claus (Phyllis) of Lewisville, Phillip Ackerman (Lisa) of Massillon and Ben Ackerman (Karen) of Lewisville; his grandchildren, Travis, Jason, Carey, Pam, Russell, Casey and Brittany; his stepgrandchildren, Stacey and Missy; and also Donna Pyles. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
