She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard Lendon and Estelle Morris Lendon; her husband Vernon Blackstone; her son Ronald Blackstone; and her grandsons, Clifford Blackstone and Michael Vinson.
She is survived by: her children, Joe Blackstone of Summerfield, Thomas Blackstone of Powhatan Point, Kenneth Blackstone (Belva) of Lewisville, Bruce Blackstone (Louise) of Lewisville, Judy Vinson (Henry) of Powhatan Point and Teresa Scarberry (Samuel) of Elm Grove; and her sisters, Betty Matson of Buckeye Lake and Elsie Bonam of Wooster. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren and 2 on the way, and 2 great-great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 27th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Bauer Turner Funeral Home (100 S Paul St, Woodsfield, OH 43793). A funeral service was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
