He was predeceased by: his parents, Ottis Vanscoy and Hazel Vanscoy; his siblings, Freda Vanscoy and Francis; his siblings-in-law, Juanita Vanscoy and Luther Allen Cosner; and his niece Tamela Cosner Elmore.
He is survived by: his wife Kathleen R. Jennings; his daughter Tina McPherson (David); his grandsons, Logan and Daniel; and his siblings, Williard Vanscoy (Charlotte), Willis Vanscoy (Brenda), Lynda Cosner and Irene Vanscoy. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
