She was predeceased by: her parents, Friedrick A Kappler and Anna Kappler (Paulun); her husband Raymond; and her siblings, Henrietta Johnson, Rudolph, Walter, Carl, Joe, Helen, August and Emma Kappler.
She is survived by: her daughter-in-law Marilyn; her children, Richard Sr. (Marilyn Carr) of North Lima and Joan (William Kooser) of North Lima; and her grandchildren, Richard "Rocky" D. Carr (Hope), Randy L. Carr (Deanne), Marla J. Freitag (Christopher), Susan M. Kooser and Melissa Handwork (Christopher). She is also survived by nineteen great-grandchildren.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the Greenford Lutheran Church or plant a flower or tree in her memory as she loved to garden.
