He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Gail and Lema Mae Snipes (Dotson); his grandchildren, Jayden and Charlotte; and his sisters, Judith Snipes and Caroline Snipes.
He is survived by: his wife Susan McWilliams; his children, Dawn Snipes, Nikki Shaner (John), Amanda Swonguer (Rocky) and Josh Amonds (Tonia); his grandmother Amonds; his grandchildren, Ashlyn, Kaitlyn, Riley, Bennett, McKenzie, Mahalie, Dakota, Alexis, Addison, Jordyn, Everleigh, Taisley, Kasch, Tamarra and Kanayn; and his siblings, Janice Spangler (Donald), Larry Snipes (Lynne) and William Snipes. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
