He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Spriggs and Laura James Spriggs; his grandson Cole Spriggs; his siblings, Donald Spriggs and Jean Bennington; his son James A. Bailey; and his sons-in-law, Bruce Stayner, Greg Blevins and Charles Wilson.
He is survived by: his wife Janet Prater Bailey; his children, Gwen Stayner of Ostrander, OH, Kathy Blevins of Ostrander, OH, Steve Spriggs (Amy) of West Mansfield, OH, Ed Bailey (Sandy) of Hanover, IN and Charlotte Wilson of Lakeview; his grandchildren, Kevin Stayner (Andrea), Matthew Stayner (Staci), Nichole Brown (Jon), Andrew Blevins (Taylor), Haley Spriggs, Sadie Spriggs, Reese Spriggs, Amanda Neaves (Chris), Carrie Cottingham (Robert), Desiree Cooley (Pacer), Michael Bailey, Brandon Bailey, James Bailey (Geraldine) and Cody Wilson; and his daughter-in-law Susan P. Bailey of Lakeview. He is also survived by 20 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
