He was predeceased by: his wife Jean Johnson; his daughter Melanie Johnson; his parents, James Johnson and Nancy Johnson; and his siblings, Vollie and Louis Johnson.
He is survived by: his children, Ben Johnson (Stacey), Anna Mathews (John) and Brett Johnson (Carli); his grandchildren, Michael Johnson (Brianna), Chloe Johnson, Madison, Carter Mathews, Brayden, Peyton, Jackson, Easton, Grayson and Alden Johnson; his great grandchild Sven Johnson; and his siblings, C. B. Johnson, Harry Johnson (Toby), Bob Johnson (Phyllis), Sherry Iles, Sheila Straszheim, Eric Johnson and Doug Johnson.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Brookville First United Methodist Church (963 Salem St, Brookville, OH 45309). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
