With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Roy Day of Lewisburg, Ohio, born in Dayton, Ohio, who passed away on September 2, 2024 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Roy shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Roy farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Day and Grace L. Day (Johnson); and his brother-in-law Charles Captain. He is survived by: his sisters, Thea Marker (Bill) and Robin Day-Captain; his nieces and nephews, Brandon Marker, Casey Puckett (Joe), Sarah Casebolt (Marc) and James Booher (Brandy); and his cousin Frankie Durham (Anita). He is also survived by numerous cousins, great nieces and great nephews.
