He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank P. Shannon and Harriet Louise Shannon (Bowman); and his siblings, Rex Shannon, Frank Shannon, Jr. and Ruth Etter.
He is survived by: his wife Judy Shannon of Lewisburg, Ohio; his sons, Mike Shannon of Dayton, Ohio and Phil Maciejewski (Lisa) of Dayton, Ohio; his stepdaughter Eva Marie Santiago (Jorge Luis) of New York City; his brother Denny Shannon of Troy, Ohio; and his grandchildren, Luke, Sylvia and Sidney. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
