He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Glen Harris and Gathel Harris (Crum); his children, Bethany, Arnold Chiari Malformation Syndrome and Tim (Angela); his grandchildren, Aidan and Avery; his sister Jill Humphreys (Bob); and his nieces and nephews, Amy Scobee (Kenny), Dutch, Bobby Humphreys (Renee), Parker, Madeline and Catelyn. He was also cherished by many cousins and two aunts.

Memorial contributions in Val's name may be made to the American Cancer Society or to a charity of the donor's choice.
