It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Raymond Bernard Pongonis (Lewis Center, Ohio), born in Cleveland, Ohio, who passed away on December 28, 2022, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Pongonis and Helen Pongonis (Cirkel); his wife Rita (Donelon); his son Thomas; his brother Joseph; and his cousin Mary Pongonis Dormendo.
He is survived by: his children, Raymond (Marilyn) of Columbus and Kathleen Bryant (David) of Mount Sterling; his grandchildren, Raymond, Jr. (Meighan) of Naperville, IL, Katheryn Pongonis Shough (Jason) of Columbus and Kelly Bryant Mescher (Tom) of Springfield; his great grandchildren, Charlie, Brady, Max, Molly Pongonis, Emerson, Charlotte Shough, Elise, Isis and Ares Mescher; his brother Thomas; and his uncle Bernie. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
