He is survived by: his children, Chris (Maureen) of Kettering, OH, Sarah of Columbus, OH, Bridget of Albany, NY, Claudia of Columbus, OH, Ursula of Westerville, OH and Ben (Sara Saldoff) of Columbus, OH; his grandchildren, Allison Thompson, Catherine Halterman (Nick), Nick Anderson, Christopher Anderson, Bridget McClain (Jace), Sarah Smith, Sophia Smith, Lily Anderson and Lela Calland; his great grandchildren, Natalie, Elliot and Silas Halterman; his siblings, Mary Anderson (Fred Carey), Tom Anderson (Diana DeMuth), Marty Anderson (Diann) and Steve Anderson; and his siblings-in-law, Sandy Dane and Bruce Holleman. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, February 16th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the Byrd Polar and Climate Research Center (1090 Carmack Rd, Columbus, OH 43210).
