He is survived by: his son Vikas Gopal; his daughter-in-law Arati Krishna; his grandsons, Varun Gopal and Karun Gopal; and his siblings, P. G. Rajendran and Omana Sivaprasad. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and numerous relatives, friends.
