She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Spangler and Blanche Spangler; and her brother Wayne Spangler. She is survived by: her husband Dr. Jerry Smith; her children, Dr. Robert Alan Smith (Karen) of Bardstown, KY, David Smith (Ada) of Bardstown, KY and Carolyn Sherrod (Tom) of Lewis Center, Ohio; and her grandchildren, Amie Robertson (David), Brent Smith (Britney), Ryan Smith, Lauren Fish (Adam), Timothy Sherrod, Mark Sherrod (Kathleen), James Sherrod and Joy Fehl (Addison). She is also survived by fourteen great grandchildren.
