He was predeceased by: his father James Ray Whalen. He is survived by: his mother Rheta Whalen of Westerville; his sisters, Jodi Chevalier (John) and Amy Whalen-Hall (Duane); his nieces and nephews, Kevin Goodrich, Matt Stomm, Noah Wheeler, Amber Demonbreun and Mira Bainum; his friends, Tony and Kevin; and his uncle Dave. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins.
